Being nervous for your boudoir session is totally normal, especially if it is your first time! I work with you to ensure that your concerns are heard and guide you through the experience AND prepare you ahead of time so that you know exactly what to expect. On the shoot date I am there with the hair and makeup artist to ensure your hair and makeup is to your liking, and then the fun starts! During the shoot I like to throw on some music *in case anyone was worried about awkward silence*.
During the shoot I strongly recommend acknowledging how you feel or voicing your concerns/ nervousness out loud as it can help A LOT.
Hot Tip: If you are like me want to get some visuals and perspective on what you can expect for your boudoir session I highly encourage you to hop on youtube and watch some boudoir portrait tutorials. This will give you a photographer's perspective.
this is my first boudoir session, what can I do to prepare?
Drop me a line below, I'd love to learn more about what you had in mind and answer any questions you might have :)
how can I learn more?
I work with you to find out whats most comfortable for you. However, there are a variety of locations for boudoir photo sessions such as in the more obvious locations such as: client's home, in studio. Or the lesser obvious locations such as: outdoors, airbnbs etc!
where will the shoot be?
Yes! I have a skilled team of hair and makeup artists who specialize in camera ready makeup. My team and I will work with you to figure out whether you feel more comfortable in a "no-makeup makeup look" or glammed up.
do you offer professional hair + makeup?
Luxury portrait photographer based in Campbell River, British Columbia. Servicing Vancouver Island communities + beyond.
